Time To Scrap Universal Credit

Post by Rusty »

Time To Scrap Universal Credit

The Tories have brought in this terrible Universal Credit benefit in the UK.
Believe it of not but when you claim this benefit you get no money for 6 weeks.
This has caused loads of misery for many people including families with children.
In fact, some of these families are relying on food banks to get a meal.
Some have even lost their homes after falling behind on the rent.
Over Christmas, should they not suspend this deplorable benefit, many Christmases will be ruined.

I sympathise with those on benefits.
I remember claiming some a long time ago and the way the staff talk in the Jobcentre was deplorable.
Yes, time to get rid of this horrible benefit.
There was nothing wrong with the old system, at least people knew where they stood.

Far too much suffering and the government needs to take note.

I can't understand why most politicians support a drastic change in the system.

As long as they are alright - that's their mentality.
