Cyber attack stops operations in the UK

There was a cyber attack over the weekend that has crippled the NHS in the UK and many operations were cancelled.
What happened was that someone started a ransomware attack which locked files on vulnerable computer networks.
The affetced PC's had to pay a few hundred pound to gain access to the files again.
Some even paid.
They say that so far £30,000 has been paid :o
If you are affected, don't pay and look for a solution.
I doubt whether the person who is capitalising right now will escape justice.
